Fall Color Rocky Mountain National Park

Fall foliage color is my favorite time of year in Colorado. It demands that you drop everything to see its fleeting beauty. While I have shot the most prolific aspen areas around Telluride, I recently enjoyed visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park, just an hour outside Boulder.

I love how the soft autumn light illuminates the golden aspen groves woven amongst the pine trees. The snow-dusted mountains make a dramatic background. It feels like a living painting museum! The bugling elk provide the perfect symphony!

Here are my favorite personal photos taken in RMNP in Moraine Valley and around Bear Lake. Hope you enjoy it!
