SPC Website Sucess
It has been a pleasure to work with Swander Pace Capital on a variety of visual projects. Amparo Calderon, Marketing Manager, provided a very strong vision of their brand and the important message she wanted to capture visually.
Our first project was the SPC website home page makeover. The goal was to show the depth and breadth of consumer packaged goods categories (CPG) served by SPC. And to show the brands they have bought and built over many years. But more importantly, we wanted to bring their CPG categories to life in a fun, approachable way.
Here is the before website, with stock images:
We started with moodboards to develop an artistic branded look and feel. Simple, modern, and approachable became our focus. We developed a trial and error system to ensure we always had the best concept for each category. One of my favorite stop motions for the food division showing such strong brands as Alden’s, Crazy Horse Coffee, and Applegate Meats.
Here is what we created for health and wellness. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar makes a delicious health-boosting drink that reminds me of lemonade but with an apple twist:
Here is an animation of the final project with 6 stop motion videos on the home page that we created.
Next, we worked on new brand acquisition hero images. For Mommy Bliss, we wanted to show how their products are part of everyday life for moms, babies, and kids.
For Patriot Pickle, we visualized a modern pickle co-packer. It was fun to show both making and serving pickles. Our moodboard really helped us stay focused while choosing from a wide variety of concepts.
Look how the hero image shows the process to make pickles and serve them up so many ways.
For the Mighty Spark brand, we showed how the all-natural poultry products are delicious, versatile, and wholesome. The packaging was shown with preparation steps and delicious meal ideas.
Reliance Plant Fusion illustrated the product itself poured into a fun hero image.
